Michelle Hickman (Texas) Wants The Right To Breast Feed On Filthy Floors
Michelle Hickman of Houston was in a Target store in Webster, Texas last month when her baby got hungry. She chose to sit on the floor in a remote area of the store and cover herself with a blanket while she fed her young one. A Target employee suggested that she use a dressing room stall instead. Ms. Hickman refused and then said she was “humiliated” when other store clerks walked by and gave her a funny look. So, she called the news for attention to what she saw as wrong.
You were humiliated, were ya?
Do you have any idea what is on the feet of those people who walk on that carpet? Do you have any idea what bodily fluids people have no problem expelling onto the floor of public places? Have you ever seen feces run down and out of a woman’s pant leg as she ran across the store to find a restroom? I have!!!
Do you really think that the cleaners of these stores throw the mop that they cleaned that with away? NO! They clean the rest of the floor with it after a rinse, hopefully! Do you think that the vacuum cleaners they use are any better than the ones we use? Do they disinfect?
Did you ever consider that the Target employee’s looks were because they knew that?
Soon, other mothers joined in Michelle’s ploy to keep her right to feed that baby on the floor of a department store. They gathered in the store and sat on a carpeted entrance-way to a Target store as made their stand to feed their babies in public. They sat on a carpet that most of us wouldn’t even touch our own shoes after walking on!
I seriously hope that after you all stood up and instinctively wiped your pants off, that you didn’t pinch the cheek of your little one!
It’s time like this I wish I was in charge of the Division of Health and Family Services.

My Hiatus and Metallica’s Latest
Please excuse my hiatus, as if you missed me. It’s not that I’m not wondering, it’s that I’m not sure what anyone would want to hear what I’m wonderin’ about. Sure I could blurb about what I, personally am doing but who really cares about that? Honestly, the Casey Anthony fiasco depleted me for a bit. Busted my writing bubble you could say.
So, I was out and about yesterday and I heard about Metallica‘s latest release on the radio and what a huge disappointment it was. Actually, disappointment is an understatement! On WMMR 93.3 people were getting pretty nasty in some of their comments! And tons of them! Some were funny but some people took it like it was a sick joke. Others were just in a kind of daze at what they had just heard. I heard references to Lou Reed and I thought, “how mean to do that to the dude when he’s not here to defend himself!”
Just joking! If I had tickets to their tour for this one, I’d kind of be would be waiting for the crew of “Spinal Tap” to come out though! And the crowd would be glad!! *zing* Again, just kidding!
I have always had a theory that James Hetfield, or any musician really, is only great when they’re in despair and angst. When the shit hits the fan the pen hits the paper. It’s the catalyst of most artistic beings. I use paint and my husband uses pen & guitar.
I guess what boggles me the most is that nobody stopped it mid-stream and said, “Dude, this sucks!” I cannot imagine Rob Trujillo’s reaction. I like that Dude. I like them all! Why did nobody stop them!!
Anyway, everyone has a right to live their lives as they wish and seriously, do we really want to see anyone crash and burn at the expense of our entertainment? Hmmm, do we? Nah!!
In all seriousness, Metallica has given us a massive library of awesome music! We really have no right to be pissed or disappointed. It’s just going to be sad to see the fall-out. I’ve followed them for years and like the individuals as much as the music, ya know? So they put out an “experiment”! Yea, yea, that’s what it was! An experiment! Genius! (Lovitz)
Art is art in the eye of the beholder, and here we all stand looking like a bunch of idiots trying to figure out what the hell the painting is at the art gallery, right? Our chins perched in the cup of our hand and our head’s tilted slightly with a look of wonder?
I guess the point of this wandering is that when I took a hiatus, maybe Metallica should have! Again, just kidding…if you knew me, you’d know I love them a lot!

I Don’t Care Where Casey Is!
I swear that I do not care where Casey Anthony is!
I know that she will show up! There is no way that she will go underground now that she is one of the most notorious people in US history…which makes me wanna barf knowing that we’ll have to hear her name forever!!
Her narcissism won’t allow her to stay invisible and neither will her attorney, Jose!
Besides Jose recently foreclosing on his home in the upscale Kissimmee community that he and his wife share(d?), most people would say that Jose took this case to gain notoriety, win or lose.
How Jose won this one makes me think of “The Devil’s Advocate“.
When ever in your memory did you know of a lawyer who took such an interest in his client? Abandoning his external life, jetting her away on a plane, assuring her safety and making plans for her future? It seems very strange to me!
If Jose continues to have Casey under his thumb, it would certainly assure him a bigger paycheck for those interviews that people are asking for. And it would help him continue to be front-page news. To spread out those proverbial 15 minutes. At least till Casey is done with him and throws him away!
It is pretty obvious to many that Jose adored that Casey had a crush on him! And I’m sure he is not used to girls crushing on him. There is not anything attractive about him! Physically or otherwise. I had read another article this morning that said he could have any woman he wants now. I shudder to think that is the common consensus out there. Yikes!
Because Casey is infamous for using men (and women?) as sexually manipulated beings (a.k.a. she thinks men are idiots), you know that she used that ability to make Jose’s mind dysfunctional! She wasn’t going to be able use those feminine wiles on any other lawyer and get away with it! Not most are that gullible.
Since Casey’s release, Jose’s making statements like Obama did after the ’08 election. WE WON! Period. Jose stated something to the affect that we have to start respecting what jurors said. Making statements insinuating that she’s innocent when his opening and closing statements disagreed with that completely! What a liar!! And, I’m sure that had they lost, his feelings toward the jury system would be a whole different song and dance!
And, people need to stop attacking girls that look like Casey! That is crazy! Don’t beat up on others and continue the chain of destruction that Casey Anthony leaves in her trail. We’re not angry at one another, right?
Look into her eyes first! I don’t think that anyone who cares about Caylee Marie will ever…EVER forget the look of those eyes! Casey could wear colored contacts and I’d know her. She could give herself a new chin, new nose, new everything but, unless she gets an eye transplant, I will know it’s her! She can go to South Africa, Denmark or just about anywhere and people will know her!
I am kind of angry that Casey was under protective custody in jail! “Normal” people don’t get afforded that luxury. It has been said that women’s jails and prisons are worse than the male facilities, and that says a lot! I think things would have turned out a lot differently had Casey Anthony not been treated differently. Not one aspect of any of this seem right or just or yes, fair!
So, no I don’t care where Casey is! I figure that when she gets her hair and make-up done and gets her story straight between her and Jose, and then she’ll come to us! All we have to do is be patient!
And speaking of patience?
Casey’s notoriety will assure us all that when karma bites her in the ass, it will be front-page news and on every TV station! Nice!! Smile Casey!

Isn’t “Letting It Go” Abandoning Our Cause?
The fall-out after the shocking not-guilty verdict in the Casey Anthony trial has included everything from sideshow-style predictions to what many feel is a crime covered by another crime.
As I read articles about it, I see comments like “get over it, the jury spoke” or “haven’t we heard enough of this already“.
“Jeez! Can’t ya move on?” and such.
I am so full of Casey Anthony that yes! I’d love to never hear her name again!
But, to let it go and accept the injustice that a massive majority of people feel was carried out here seems to me like we are being asked to abandon what we’ve all been standing for since July of 2008! That’s a long time to care and then be asked to look away! Especially in this day and age where these crimes of “disposable children” is on the rise! How, as a society can we look away?
People spent every means possible to find Caylee whether it be on foot or on a prayer-bent knee. People looked until Caylee’s body was found and then what did we see? A cute little swivel-assed girl getting away with her murder while destroying everyone in her path! What does that say about us? What kind of society are we?
Lawyers say that there are other cases where the defendant is found guilty all the time so just know that the system works!
Um, no it doesn’t!!
Even Casey’s lawyers wouldn’t let her babysit their children because they know she’s guilty but likable! She’s likable!?
The system doesn’t work! How many people are in prison today that shouldn’t be just because they got the wrong combination of “peers” and not all of the evidence was admitted? I personally know one. As I’ve said before in previous articles, take a look around at your peers, man! It’s scary!
So, while Casey Anthony’s 3-year prison stint that was supposed to be for other charges that she was found guilty of, check cashing fraud, etc., is being used to fulfill her new charges that she was found guilty of…4 counts of lying to authorities, we are supposed to let it go! Wow! She’s serving double-duty time? What is that? Is that even legal?
While there are still unanswered questions as to why the jury heard several times that duct tape around the mouth was the cause of death and then states that they had no cause of death and that’s why they acquitted her, we’re supposed to “let it go”? WTH?
The more I hear from the jury, the more I cannot believe their verdict! I just listened to the foreman tell Greta that basically Caylee committed suicide, got into her mother’s trunk and then waited to jump out when she got near the pet cemetery after miraculously duct taping herself and putting herself into bags. Unbelievable!! It’s almost as disturbing as the crime they were judging!
When you care about something you do not let it go! You fight until children are no longer thrown away without repercussion, peers are more closely evaluated and the jury’s are given all of the evidence rather than a few bartered-on pieces! How can we ask anyone to lay their head on a pillow after making a decision on a half-baked scenario!
Actually, I’m waiting for her release. I don’t sense in my gut that it will go well. And, she can change her name and her face but the evil that is within will still come out! I cannot imagine stepping into the world and being her but, I can’t imagine anything that Casey does because my mind cannot conceive that kind of evil.
I’ve still been praying really hard for Cindy, George and Lee and the rest of their family and friends who grieve. I pray for the neighborhood and hope that the neighbors forgive the Anthony’s. I pray for the jurors because I think that they were served an immense injustice by not having all of the facts, even though I believe that they had more than enough to do the job that they were asked to do. Remember that they were given other choices besides 1st degree murder and they let her go! Let it go, right?
And I’ve been watching a lot of silly stuff, even the weather channel to wean myself off of the addiction of watching the car-wreck of a trial, having had way more of Casey Anthony than I ever want to have but still standing tall for Caylee Marie and the countless others like her. May we bring them all out of the darkness into the light! To me that is the most ideal way of getting justice for Caylee, since we cannot bring her back.
And now you know how I feel about it.
